Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and sales.
  • Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media campaigns with overall brand objectives and product launches.
  • Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and interactive community.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and giveaways to drive user-generated content and increase brand loyalty.
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging social media platforms and trends, and recommend strategies to leverage new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to create sponsored content and maximize brand exposure.
  • Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation management across various platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of beauty and cosmetics trends, with a passion for the industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative social media campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Familiarity with Jeffree Star Cosmetics and a genuine passion for the brand.
  • US and International travel required as needed.
